What You Need To Know About the GACE

Whichever subject you intend to teach, you'll find that passing the GACE test will require you to make use of two sets of skills: recalling the knowledge that you possess; and answering exam questions quickly and accurately.

Both of these skill sets are vitally important. A good GACE study guide can help you develop these skills.

What is the GACE?

The GACE contains three exams: the Oklahoma General Education Test (OGET) examines basic education knowledge and skills; the Oklahoma Professional Teaching Examination (OPTE) tests professional knowledge and skills; and the Oklahoma Subject Area Tests (OSAT) review specialized subject knowledge.
